At Compounded Nutrients, we don’t manufacture it until you order it so everything you receive was just made fresh days before you actually receive it. In order to best showcase this benefit to your patients, we are moving towards manufactured on dates so that it is well known exactly when each custom formula was just made. One problem associated with industry across the board use of expiration dates is the customer cannot readily tell when a product was actually manufactured from expiration date alone. When a product is 6-9 months away from its expiration date, it is quite possible that product was manufactured 1-2 years before and has been warehoused sitting on a shelf in the interim. For companies that mass produce and hold inventory for years, expiration dates are the only route to take because the manufactured on date doesn’t always send a positive message. For our made fresh to order model manufactured on dates offer more information to the patient.

Clinical Efficacy comes down to studied high quality ingredients, therapeutic dosing, and freshness. Please feel free to communicate that all products are good to use within at least two years of the manufacture date.
